The Principality of Zeon is at war with the Earth Federation. On September 18, 0079, Zeon Lieutenant Commander Char Aznable leads a raid on the space colony Side 7. There, he discovers the Earth Federationโs new weapon, the RX-78-2 Gundam, abandoned. He then decides to steal it for himself, setting off a domino effect that will forever change history as we know it. Five years later, on the independent colony Side 6, a young Newtype girl finds herself caught up in the hunt for the missing RX-78-2 Gundam. Soon, events conspire to put her in command of the new Gundam prototype GQuuuuuuX and have her compete in underground mobile suit combat competitions. Surrounded by new friends, she tries to understand her strange powers and find her place in the world, dreaming of skies where she can fly free.
